Wind energy park Kavarna

In 2008, Encon Energy was involved in the project development of wind energy park Kavarna, in Nord-east Bulgaria which was partly developed from a local developer. The wind energy park consist from 25 wind turbines, 2 MW each, with a total capacity of 50 MW and substation 110/20kV.
As a main executor Encon Energy concluded a wind turbine purchase and delivery contract. Encon Energy organized the construction of the internal roads and the internal and external cable lines of the wind energy park, the construction of wind turbine's foundations and built the substation.
In 2010 Encon Energy sold the wind park Kavarna to the electricity supplier Energieversorgung Niederösterreich (EVN).
